As the Principal of Florida Accounting & Litigation Services (FLALS), Mr. Gorman has provided interim CFO, business valuation, forensic accounting, tax and attest services to a diverse client base across multiple industries for over a decade. Prior to founding FLALS, Mr. Gorman accumulated experience and technical skills across a 25-year career working for some of the most admired corporations & private equity firms in the World.
Mr. Gorman, a passionate disciple of continuous improvement, maintains 75-100hrs per year of continuing professional education (CPE). A peer-reviewed published author and internationally recognized public speaker, Mr. Gorman is regularly sought out to present on business valuation principals, enterprise risk management, lean six-sigma for finance / administrative functions, benchmarking and the implementation of ‘Hoshin’ KPI cascade methods.
Mr. Gorman is passionate about building world-class finance and accounting organizations, that foster a "no surprise" culture, demonstrate best practices controllership and focus on collaboratively working across the organization to provide leadership with the information they need to make the best business decisions.
In 2023, Mr. Gorman completed the process of merging the bulk of FLALS’ existing clients to a Regional CPA firm. In the coming months, Mr. Gorman looks forward to leveraging his experience and expertise as a CFO/COO of an existing or start-up business.

Mr. Gorman was a frequent expert contributor to Orlando's WKMG, News 6. Mr. Gorman worked with producers to present informative segments ranging from serious (Tax Preparer Fraud) to lighthearted (Taxation of NCAA Brackets) subjects.
Published in the December, 2012 issue of Florida CPA Today by the Florida Institute for CPAs. Mr. Gorman's first consulting clients were businesses and professional practices whose holdings were devalued following the recession of 2010. Mr. Gorman & his associates restructured over $100M in Commercial Real Estate Debt.
